Bio

DUa2 constitutes an attractive musical ensemble that fuses castanets and piano's sonority, offering a performance where the rhythmic element provided by the castanets blends masterfully with the touch of the keyboard.

Duo's concerns range from baroque to contemporary music. It aims to serve as a vehicle for current creation through close collaboration with composers of our time and whose main objective is the dissemination and expansion of the  Spanish music repertoire.

One of the main purposes of the duo is to rescue the jewels of the national historical repertoire that may have fallen into oblivion, but, even so, are part of our musical heritage. From baroque composers, such as Padre Soler, Mateo Albéniz, Scarlatti or Padre Murcia, to nationalists such as Falla, Albéniz, Granados, etc…

Their next commitments include concerts in the "Chamber Music Series" at the Museum of Human Evolution (Burgos), "Juventudes musicales musical series" (Valladolid), "International Music Festival" of Medina del Campo, "Festival Mozart” (Medellín, Colombia)  “Ciclo del Liceo ” (Salamanca) and the San Francisco Auditorium (Ávila), University of Valencia. During the 2023 season it will be part of the program of the 21Distritos of the City of Madrid, performing several concerts in the different districts of the capital.
